Sundrown has a layered sound of 70s rock and blues mixed with psychedelic arrangements in the spirit of bands like The Doors, The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd.
There is a hard rock edge to Sundrown as well. Rock is at the core of Sundrown’s sound, yet over the years the hard rock sound has expanded to more genres.
Sundrowns’ 4th release, 2022’s “Reclusivity” showcases various genres of rock that Sundrown has evolved to musically. From the 70s hard rock sound of the track “Real Time,” to the art-rock piano/guitar driven “Glow.”
The first single, "Glow” is piano driven with the inclusion of electric guitars, while “Wave From The Moon” is more psychedelic in tone.
“Redemption” is a track soaked in delta blues slide guitar while “Skin Crawl Morning” sounds as the title implies. A slow, guitar sludge the unfolds into tempo.
